什麼!!! VMware 可以裝 Mac OS X ???

哈囉!!! 大家好~

今天這一節我們來說明一下，如何在 VMware Player 上安裝最新版的 Mac OS X Yosemite。

為什麼會突然談到在 VMware 上面來安裝一個 Mac 系統呢?
之所以會突然在這一節說明的原因是，還記得我們上一節講到 MonkeyTalk Agent (iOS篇) 嗎? 因為這一篇我們要用到 Mac OSX 的 Xcode 來安裝 MonkeyTalk Agent，但是並不是每一位使用者都有 Mac 系統，所以今天就特別講到這一篇。

那我們現在就直接開始說明今天的主題 - Yosemite 在 VMware 安裝技巧：

Step 1: Should enable Intel VT-X and AMD-V in BIOS.

Step 2: Download VMware Player from official URL or file link as below.

VMware-player-7.0.0-2305329

Step 3: After download double click the file "VMware-player-7.0.0-2305329.exe" to start installation.

Step 4: Show the window then click "Next".

Step 5: Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" then click "Next".

Step 6: Want to change installing folder click "Change..." to carry on. If not click "Next".

Step 7: Un-tick "Check for product updates on startup" then click "Next".

Step 8: Un-tick "Help improve VMware Player" then click "Next".

Step 9: Tick "Desktop" & "Start Menu Programs folder" for create shortcuts then click "Next".

Step 10: Click "Continue" to begin the process.

Step 11: Show the process until finish then click "Finish".

Tips 11-1: Check from start show "VMware Player" icon as below in red. Then click the icon show the main window in second picture.

Tips 11-2: Check the version of the VMware Player "7.0.0 build-2305329"

Step 12: Download & unzip the unlock tools (unlock-all-v130.7z) for VMware to install Mac OSX.

Tips 12-1: Download 7zip from here http://www.developershome.com/7-zip/.

Step 13: Click windows folder then select "install.cmd" and right click run by "Administrator".

Teips 13-1: Make sure close the VMware Player first then can run this unlock tools.

Step 14: After installed the unlock tools then download the OS X Yosemite zip files from the link as below and unzip.

MAC OS X 10.10 YOSEMITE VER 2015.part2.rar
MAC OS X 10.10 YOSEMITE VER 2015.part3.rar
MAC OS X 10.10 YOSEMITE VER 2015.part4.rar

Tips 14-1: Please make sure got 2 files of "MAC OS X 10.10 YOSEMITE VER 2015.vmdk" and "MAC OS X 10.10 YOSEMITE VER 2015.vmx".

Step 15: Open the VMware Player then click "Open a Virtual Machine" and select the vmx file location just now save the folder then click "Open".

Step 16: Select "Edit virtual machine settings" for detail settings.

Step 17: Select "Options" then rename for Virtual machine as "Mac OSX Yosemite" or anyone you want it.

Tips 17-1: Make sure got "Apple Max OS X" option then select "Mac OS X 10.7" for successfully unlock VMware Player otherwise will be failed.

Tips 17-2: If can't show the option of  "Apple Mac OS X", please close VMware Player and open "Task Manager" then kill all of VMware tasks and re-install the unlock tools again. 

Step 18: Double check "Memory for 4GB" and "Processors for quarter core" then click "OK" to finished the settings.

Step 19: Click "Play virtual machine" for first time power on the Mac OSX then click "I Copied It" for continual, may take awhile to finish it.

Step 20: Tick "Show All" then select country "Taiwan".

Step 21: Select the keyboard layout "U.S." then click "Continue".

Step 22: Select "Don't transfer any information now" then click "Continue".

Step 23: Select "Don't sign in" then click "Continue" and "Skip".

Step 24: For conditions agreement, please click "Agree".

Step 25: Create a user account for Mac, please fill in the "Full name", "Account name", "Password" and "Hint" then click "Continue".

Step 26: Un-tick "Send diagnostics & usage data to Apple" then click "Continue".

Step 27: Congratulation!!! When show as below means successful installation.

Step 28: Install the VMware tools. Click "Settings...".
Player | Removable Devices | CD/DVD (SATA) | Settings...

Step 29: Click "Browse" then select the unlock tools folder, got "darwin.iso" under tools folder.

Step 30: Tick "Connect" then click "OK".

Step 31: Show the VMware Tools box then double click "Install VMware Tools".

Step 32: Click "Continue" for continue the installation.

Step 33: Click "Continue" for the installing destination.

Step 34: Click "Install" to start installation.

Step 35: Enter root user password then click "Install Software".

Step 36: After install finish should reboot the VM, if agree click "Continue Installation".

Step 37: After the installation was successful then click "Restart".
