LOAD IMPACT 雲端自動化測試(一)

Load Impact 這套雲端自動化測試工具，在台灣很多公家機關都很喜歡用這套來做測試。這套壓測工具的好處是使用 Amazon 的 EC2 雲端平台，運用分散在世界各地的 Amazon 雲端機房做壓測，可以更有效的模擬分散在地球不同角落的使用者，接下來就來介紹一下這套系統的使用方法。

照舊一樣先來張 "圖解" 說明：

這一節，先來介紹一下沒有註冊帳號 "Run free test" 的方法：

Step 1: Open browser typing "loadimpact.com" 

Step 2: Enter a URL to test at below red column.

Step 3: Enter "Target IP address" in yellow then click "Run free test" (ex. www.hinet.net)

Step 4: Pop out a massage box to ask register, click "No, Start Test!" then show the processing  "Creating test..."

Step 5: The new window shows as below running the test.

Step 6: After a few minute completed the test.

Step 7: Check "Charts" for the VUs in green and the time of users to load show in blue during this test.

Step 8: Check "Pages" only one page for this test scenario.

Step 9: Check "URLs" all successful.

 Step 10: Check "Resource types" for percentage of URL content type & load time.

Step 11: Finally Check "Logs" shows no log for this test.

說明到這裡可以看到，Load Impact 在 "無註冊版" 的使用上非常容易，只需輸入 Target  URL 或 IP 就直接透過雲端測試機做測試，只需靜待測試結果。在分析上也很容易，透過圖表及簡單易懂的說明，就可以清楚的瞭解測試結果。
